We took a family trip to Houston to visit our great friends Monica and Eric over this Memorial Day weekend. I didn't take many pictures, but we had a great time none the less. :-) We even got to play at the newly renovated Houston Children's Museum! Way cool!! We'd love to go back soon! We already miss Monica and Eric!

Of course we had to wash the minivan before we took our road trip, so the kids took great pleasure in "helping" us wash the car, or their car, or Dad's car. Either way the water and soap was fun!

Our picnic lunch next to the river in La Grange (on our way back to Austin). As soon as I took this shot, Leilani started to scream, "the bugs are biting me!!!" oh no! Fire ants! grrrrr. poor baby, what a trooper.
